EPoS

Copia have recently developed an award-winning elearning programme to train approximately 25,000 employees on a new EPoS and back office system. The elearning programme – called “Mission EPoSsible” – has transformed the way B&Q employees learn checkout and back-office systems, through customer-facing simulations in which till transactions, customer service and process training is combined in a safe, realistic environment.

Providing over seven hours worth of training in total, the course trains users on over 50 till processes using real-life scenarios on a simulated till includes and extensive assessment features and has successfully supported B&Q's biggest ever change initiatives.

Retail Operations & Processes

Copia delivered a company-wide Stock Management elearning programme for B&Q, covering the full range of internal processes from warehouse procedures and database maintenance, to stock movements and checkout operations.

Seven hours of training are delivered in 20 modules, all cross-referenced to illustrate the importance of each stage within the overall context of the retail operation.

The programme was designed not only to improve job-related skills, but also to instill a culture of responsibility and attention to detail. We achieved the latter by showing the positive or negative impact an individual's actions can have on colleagues and customers for every stage of the stock management process.

Sales Techniques & Customer Service

We have produced a suite of training programmes for B&Q Showroom Customer Advisors - a satisfying case of success breeding success. So far we have completed training covering:
